New Kayak
I finally got my next kayak. For those who don’t recall, I owned a sit on top kayak (Ocean Kayak Scrambler) when we lived in Ventura. Since moving to Seattle, I’ve been anxious to pick up my next kayak. Ideally I wanted the Eddyline Fathom - but at $2600 and having little storage space it wasn’t practical.
I opted for the Advanced Elements AdvancedFrame Expedition inflatable kayak. This is a 13′ inflatable kayak - it is 32″ wide and 42 lbs. It fits in a duffle bag for easy storage and transport. I just pumped it up in our house in about 10 minutes - pretty quick considering it was my first time. Hopefully we’ll get some decent weather tomorrow and I’ll be able to take it out on Lake Washington.
